Seme and uke weren’t a couple at that time. Seme got a girlfriend because he thought the uke was scared of him or that the uke thought seme would jump the uke at any time. So he got a girlfriend to kind of reassure the uke that he won’t touch him I guess. In reality, the uke flinched whenever the seme touched him because uke had realized he had feelings for the seme and was conscious of him now.
Thank you very much! I mean it, because of that I won't get to read this manga. It really is just not my taste. I love the author's work and had read many of his works, but this authors work really keeps pushing it's seme as an redeemable asshole. Anyways, thank you very much!
No problem! Yeah, I didn’t find the explanation very convincing but meh. It was cute enough and I still love this author, but I get ya. If you’re interested, volume 2 has a different couple from chapter 3, and they were pretty cute with no problems! Bit of an age gap but they’re both legal (one’s about to graduate college and one’s in his early 30s). Less drama and more funny than the first couple too.
