this is a complete misconstruing of my point lol. i didn’t even say anything about hating her trauma so idk where you got that from. to elaborate, relationships with language barriers in medias with a romantic plot usually consist of infantilizing one partner in the dynamic. it insinuates that there’s a power imbalance because of the barrier but that doesn’t have to be the case.
the FL is not incompetent, she’s scared and confused but as we’ve seen with her flashbacks she’s still capable of doing something. this is completely thwarted when she’s in the midst of Kali and they insist that she’s a weak, frail, and pale beauty that must be protected by her knight in shining plot armor. this dynamic has nothing to do with her trauma, this is just them trying to amp some Born Sexy Yesterday trope mechanism. It’s very reminiscent of romance YA novels. again, if you like it you have every right to this is just my personal opinion.
also you keep equating her childish antics with trauma saying that she has trauma but the scenes where she acts childish almost never have anything to do with her PTSD or any traumatic breakdown. me stating that she’s acting like a child, puppy, or a younger sibling isn’t really an opinion the webtoon shows deliberate moments where she whines like a puppy to kali, or eagerly drinks her water like a child and is softly scorned by kali. these are examples of that behavior, that has nothing to do with her trauma at hand and just the relationship between her and kali.
lastly, language barrier in stories is an obstacle but these two have not done enough to even help understand each other. the story consistently shows panels of the FL literally saying she has no clue what he’s saying because he is not trying to find a middle ground. it’s not impossible for them to communicate, they could set “rules”, do specific hand gestures to indicate something, teach each other small phrases too, heck, enunciate their names to each other or draw something on the ground with some stick to get a start but instead we get mewls and whimpers from the ‘mute’ FL and the ML just having full blown comvos in her face knowing she can’t understand much.
and the horny bit... its a 19+ webnovel they’re attraction for one another is going to be mutual regardless it doesn’t matter whose hornier more or not when they endgame will most likely be the same lol. also frollo is from a completely different medium with a different circumstance and is an antagonist of the story don’t really think him as an example means much as a comparison to kali.
sorry I didn't see where she act like a child or "whine" like a puppy or drink her water like a baby etc...the only part I remember she whine is when she was desperate to find help and someone that will not fucking rape her or harm her. this is mostly Kali POV and from his side that how he sees her. of course it doesn't mean he is right since I don't see any romance between them yet. from her pov she just using him for comfort/protection, and it totally makes sense in her situation to lean on him. she might have acted the part since she can't really "talk" to him or get what he wants and she seems so tired to bother.
there is no "imbalance" to talk about since there isn't a relationship to talk about here. most of the time they don't get each other or misunderstanding to such a ridiculous degree you can't really say they have "relationships".

I agree it was annoying about his horny pov but when I think about his history it actually makes sense to his character. he lives base on denying himself any kind of need for sexual pleasure, which is crazy. they say the more you deny something, the more you will want it. like some sort of compensation, it very interesting.
