Here is my theory.

Mia's brothers aren't her real brothers. They literally saved her and now she thinks of them as family (and vice versa).
Mia is actually really important. Like she comes from the fallen royal family of her country. She was barely surviving on the streets when the boys found her and helped her with her new life.
Rivel is a reincarnator. This is a 'what if' story of 'what if it wasn't a good person that is able to do their life over? What if it was the unremorseful villianess who uses the opportunity to get revenge?' In the original timeline, my guess is that Mia rose back into power and took back all the conquered lands, presumably having the ruling family pay for their crimes. Rivel being also one punished.
This timeline is after Rivel dies (beheaded or whatever) and Rivel uses the opportunity to get to Mia first, keeping her to make sure she doesnt get in her way and trying to make sure Rivel herself succeed and win this time.

Or maybe I've just been reading too many villianess stories.......

That’s a really interesting theory!! I was thinking maybe there was a calamity about to happen so she went to find a person to fulfill her position so they can take the blame. Or maybe even faking her own death at some point leaving Mia in her place.

With that fallen royalty theory it got me thinking about two things, what if she reincarnated way earlier and has been setting it up so it’s all building to where it is now. Like she’s either had her memories since birth or early childhood and she’s been setting it up like chess. In this theory the princess knows what the missing princess looks like to an extent plus her name, she has red hair and her name is Mia, and so the princess kind of popularized res hair in attempt to find her (because it’s not very common in the kingdom) and one of her missions to search for her personally she ends up finding her so step one of her plan is complete. And seeing that the princess is kinda in opposition of prince, because he’s going to be inheriting the throne, what if she’s taking this as an opportunity to train Mia. So say Mia was kidnapped from her kingdom and the kingdom comes to find out that she’s taking up the princess position for another kingdom, that would put airshat in a really hard position as Mia has been awarded the position of princess. This could work as either a really good piece in the war or this could lead to the building of a relationship between the actual princess and the fallen kingdom and help her rise to power. Now my question would be what is she currently out there looking for? Or maybe she’s the the one facilitating the missing paintings to embezzle money off of the books for her to use in building an army for a coup.

Honestly I’m talking out of my ass atp, but stuff like this is really fun to imagine.
