Yeah that worried face really did seem genuine so i’m scared that they’re gonna flip his whole character and say “oh he really did love her, he just had to hide it because his family was bad.. blah blah” I absolutely hate when stories do that

I think that he wasn't sad but worried because the novel says that he wanted to make a powerful heir. (Something like that don't take my word for it though). However, that could be the case too.
oh yeah i know, i hope he was only worried for that reason and that the author doesn’t flip it around and say he was secretly in love with her
yeah i know i read that part where he was like two heirs of powerful families will make a powerful baby but im scared that he author will pull the “ my family raised me this way with the sole ambition that i could produce a strong heir or smt”

christan is a piece of garbage but he looked geniunely worried when she died... im praying to think that he started developing some feelings for her even though he was annoyed with her timid personality maybe hes just trash but hm we’ll have to see
