I was also angry at Jeanette too... it I think we have to realize she is also a victim of long time manipulation and lies....since she was small everyone had either loed to her, withheld truth from her, and controlled what she should do.....so the truth would have to be shown to her before she can make her decision on how she herself wants to live....but totally get u!

im still at chp93 so i dont know if my view of her will change but really.. she's such a weak character and i find her so annoying. i feel like she always just think of herself and what people think of her. of course it's natural for the mc to feel awkward towards her.. hell, your father is coveting the throne.. if i were the mc, id ignore her i dont care.
