From my memory since it was a spoiler I saw a while back, apparently he gave her the weapon to defend herself or smt and the prince that went in was there to help her since he was doing what her father said, regardless it was a big misunderstanding and she died. After she does, when the father found out he went mad and killed the royal family (idk I’d that includes his student the prince, it wasn’t specified in the spoiler I read). I think her ex also died too but I can’t remember, I just know for sure he killed the royal family as revenge literally right after he found out she offed herself. Sadly that’s all I know ಥ_ಥ
