This trope does bother me too because it often leads to people to may gay or lesbian partners have a 'male' or 'female' role, when there is not such thing because they're literally not a straight couple. But i personally thought that this manga was cute and was able to enjoy reading it
The uke is small and cute so he 's obviously gonna be a virgin and since the seme is tall and hot he's obviously gonna be experienced. This is why I stopped reading shojo!!! I used to not give a fuck abt this before. Now I've read so many manga that follow this damn trope that I've gotten sick of it. I can't even care abt the story anymore... I even got to a point where I skim through the comments to see if there's any indication of that lol. (sadly, there wasn't any)
