Yeah Jooin is so basic he really does feel like a female lead. You could switch him with the girl he and Yahwi did the class project with and it still would be the same story. The only difference is maybe a pregnancy scare or two.

Seriously, there are so many messed up things about how women have to use a male charachter to portray the kind of intensity in sex and emotions that is politically incorrect to use in a truly female character. But at the end of the day, it looks like both guys and girls want to see the female counterpart as weak and fragile. Fck them all.

i hate the way they hyperfeminize jooin and they reduce his character into a bland, dependent person with no personality like those little mary sue in a cliche drama just to make yahwi, an absolute asshole shine. i know i have no right saying this as i am only an illegal reader but its just disappointing and distorts actual representation of mlm relationships :(
