Yepp, that's why most of the manhua (or all? Idk) are shounen ai and no smut stuff is there and some don't even necessarily depict mlm relationships but more of a bromance. Like mo Dao zu shi's anime, in the novel it showed explicit romance between the mls but in the anime, it's just shown as bromance is completely censored cuz of the Chinese govt's ban on lgbtq portrayal in films nd stuff.
