I think FL said it best with the simple "your hands are soft...even softer than mine, a noble" (not word for word but same thing)
Because she never had to work since the beginning. Since the first day of her being a maid she got the privilege to trow her work to others. And while it is true that she did not had a say in it. C'mon, she has pretty girl privilage, she knows that the prince will do anything she ask but still doesnt use it to tell the prince that maybe hes being a dick and that it is not ok to go around slaping peiple when theg dont know tge whole story( even thought it was her fault for not speaking up and clearing the misunderstanding) she didn't even try. And when she apoligized to elise i think she had not yet cleared the issue with the asshole, so yeah, that was a 100%" sincere" gesture of her.
ok, so i have come to a conclusion why i dislike Helena.
Helena is the type of character where she lets the wind take her places. meaning she doesn't do anything and just gets swept by other people's pace. OP, how would this make u dislike her?
well, its because to her it doesn't matter if what she's doing is right or wrong; moral or not. As long as she's good (living) then it doesn't really matter if she steps on anyone. (by choice or not)
But OP, she cant control or displease the empress or prince because her life is literally in their hands. It's not her fault she's well liked...
That's right, its logical to be on the beck and call of your superior. If you want to survive then make sure you hold tight on that golden spoon. But the thing is.. she's not entirely innocent.
You do not claim to be "friends" and then flirt with your "friend's" fiancé. There were so many misunderstandings between the prince and FL that could've been resolved if she CHOSE to speak up. She literally watched on the sidelines and i dislike her for that. She understands the privilege she has and uses that to her potential. and not to be classist but she's a fucking commoner. What commoner has that privilege.
