audacity to hate mc*
I just wanna emphasize that part abt her not clearing up the misunderstanding that got erin slapped. She was like "i'm okay" but didn't even bother to mention that part where she ran up and grabbed Erin w/o erin knowing who tf grabbed on to her. She didn't mention how Erin tried to help her. The fact that Erin was worried but then realized that if she tried to do anything to help, the main characters would blame her so she tried to get out of there but the maids still made Erin look like the bad person. Yes i do feel bad for the things that helena has been through but that doesn't get rid of the fact that Erin suffered greatly bc of the way that helena carried herself. Being unable to say no bc of your position does not have anything to do with you acting cozy in public and in private with another woman's fiance KNOWING she has feelings for him. current erin doesn't like the prince but og erin did have feelings for him and on top of that she had the audacity to say that Erin's feelings were not that of love. How are you going tell Erin how she feels. Erin on multiple occasions said I do not wish to be your friend just leave me alone but helena just couldn't respect that decision and she just caused Erin hardships. If someone says leave me alone, leave them tf alone. She has no respect for other's boundaries and doesn't set her own. I alr know someone is going to read this with the mentality that I'm coming at helena just bc she's a woman but no I hate ALL 3 of the other male leads (ofc not Erin's knight bc he's king literal legend I love him sm). They're all trash and they don't respect boundaries and treat Erin like an object. (I know what's to come) Only characters in this that I like are og erin, current erin, og erin's knight, and current erin's knight. I seperated her knight into two separate characters bc he met two different erins so his experience is different.
Exactly, All She did was stay in the sidelines and watch Mc's reputation to plummet down despite it already hitting rock bottom.
AND How can she trample on someone's feelings like she knows og Erin the way she knows the back of her hand? It still makes me cry everytime i remember how Og Erin gave up on love but still wants her hardworks to be acknowledged. Who in their right mind would insist friendship WHILE FLIRTING with Og's fiancee? fucking nutcase and same, I HATE ALL 3 OF THEM. Asking Erin to be understanding and all but they never considered of understanding her, antagonizing her all the time when she had all the right to feel bitter emotions. Helena's even got a better life than her, with all the pressure, considering the responsibility and works that weighs og down and eyes who watches all her actions as well as being deprived of affection.
Have they ever considered of trying to understand why she acts the way she does? umm mAYBE BECAUSE THE PERSON SHE LOVES EXPLICITLY FLIRTS RIGHT UNDER HER NOSE? AND THE PERSON HE FLIRTS WITH OPENLY ACCEPTS HIS FLIRTATION WITH ROSES AND SPARKLY SMILES AND EVEN RETURNS THE GESTURE LIKE OMG IT'S FOR HELENA'S SURVIVAL! IT CAN'T BE HELPED THEN.
the friendship bit ticks me off sm like its so outta pocket. The current Erin said that Helena doesn't actually consider Erin a friend. She read the novel and knows about helena's thoughts and stuff and she knows that she doesn't actually consider Erin a friend. it's just so annoying how Erin (a noble and the fiance of the crown prince) has to use honorifics on a maid but the maid doesn't use honorifics around her. The fact that all 3 of them fall in "love" with Erin later..imo it's not love. i don't think they know what love even is. THEY'RE ALL GARBAGE. i also forgot some characters that I like. I love the oracle, erin's maid (the one that watched her grow up and stuff), and i like her father (he has a cold vibe but I think he did love og erin v much).

As an aspiring empress(or queen?) making her use honorific on a mere maid is beyond disrespectful considering that setting is Victorian era(?) where honor is what they live for, the nerves. Sure prince wants Helena to not use honorifics on Erin bUT DOES HER "CIRCUMSTANCES" forces her to accept that too? refusing not to do so doesn't really make her lose the prince' favor, it's not like the prince would execute her for not doing so and it might even make the prince favor her better. However, she clearly doesn't know her place and when the person involve doesnt approve of the causality, THEN YOU DON'T FORCE IT ON THEM. At least have enough decency to address her formally when prince isn't in the presence if her "Circumstances" restrains her from not refusing.
