Yep but with more basis to the misunderstanding won't make it that interesting. Its a yaoi of course there'll be cliches just like how there's a lot more in our life. They have reasonable explanations and reasons for their actions. I'm just glad that this wasn't a total cliche since the uke did keep his word from trying as much as he can to stay away from the seme. It was always the seme that approached most of the time the uke just gets clingy half way into the story and its annoying.
That's right its a story full of typical nonsense drama, cliché non-communication, and giving up on love supposedly for the sake of the other.
What bothers me is that they're clichés and sterotypes, that are constantly being reinforced. As if it is somehow noble and good to give up on someone else's behalf, without even knowing that's what they want. Its a martyr complex that can end up causing both parties pain.
So yeah, I get this is a story, I just wish for once there was actually more basis for the misunderstanding, and less obviously assumptions being made.
