At first I thought this is a common jerk ML who will get a massive character development but it's quite refreshing to see a different outcome. The god of pain really live out with his title

At first he's madly in love with the white hair but after the incident he grew fond of Heil. Even before when he likes white hair, he has good relationship with Heil so you can feel the hint of what the author wants to do in the future
