True, like the usual yaoi drama plot, asshole seme will change.
Though I kinda like this one, because it won't be an easy change for the seme as well when he realize how important the uke is to his life.
Some stories I don't like is when the asshole seme got no payback for what he done and just easily obtained the uke, and then the author will drop a sad backstory and we gotta sympathize with the seme, and end up victimizing the uke.
But this one is quite good I guess. If it follows the novel.
Honestly I can kinda see how the first main lead is changing.... but it’s not enough, and by what I mean that it’s not enough I mean that he still is controlling and manipulative. Those are two bad combinations in a person and honestly, no matter how f*cken hot he is, he’s a big jerk (︶︿︶)＝凸. And the emperor? Don’t get me started on his case... I hate him. He’s so f*cken nosy! Like if he just kept his curiosity to himself and find go to Shen Yu’s little space, none of this would’ve happened. And the women/girls are huge b*tches, especially the concubines ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ They are just filled to the brim with so much burning hate. Like why the hell do you just have to blame everything on poor Shen Yu who f*cken took your place so that you didn’t have to marry the “cold hearted general”(Magistrate’s daughter) and the concubine of the general.... she’s a huge ugly mf-ing b*tch, the tortures she did to Shen Yu made me sick to my stomach

Who in the right mind would just stand there and watch a person get a needle stabbed into their finger tip.... not me(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
