It's practically the sfx. On the first page (too lazy to look what page exactly) where all that drama begins there's a ザ katakana which goes on in the next pages with アアアア... the sound is "za-a-a-a-a-..." you get the gist. It's simply the sound of the rain. I like that it's integrated in the drawings, which makes it really unique
