I've seen it in a lot of other fandoms; Finder, Naruto, Shingeki no kyojin yada yada - definite trend of it growing in past 5-10 years. And social media in general? Yeesh, hot mess lol. People just go crazy - zero accountability for what they say online so people talk to each other like shit.

I think it's up to us to avoid those places we consider toxic, there's no reason for us to keep monitoring them.
because they don't allow their translation to be uploaded on mangago so they suck? for real? if it's for other reasons that make you think that they suck, like the quality of their work or accuracy of their translation? if not, I can say that you are salty and you just wanna attack them for no reason. Stop being dramatic please, whether you like it or not you need them. If this fact bothers you that much you can always choose not to read their translation and you can just buy official translation or the magaize. Problem is solved. No need extra toxicity.
The scanlations are perfect, I'm pretty sure they are referring to the current scan group's problematic behavior.
