I don't really get what the big deal is. Like the love was reciprocated already. Yeah, maybe there should be some slight guilt, but that's it. They should just be happy together! As the saying goes, "All's fair in love and war."

But uke isn't aware of the dirty tactics bf used to win, and if he was that would change his impression of him. Yes the "straight"' friend was a coward (and so doesn't deserve uke), but current seme bf is a down right scumbag. Yes, you should fight for you love, but I hate what he did to achieve his goals. And remember they're all supposed to be friends, you don't throw friends under the bus like that, especially for your own benefit. Frankly neither friend deserves uke. I would like author to reveal the revelation to uke so he can decide what to do going forward. Does he continue staying with bf even knowing what he did, or does the revelation sour him on the relationship so much that his unrequited love now has a chance to make amends. The only scenario I would be okay with where current seme bf is forgiven is if seme himself confesses, rather than uke learning from the other friend.

You haven't read this authors others works have you? Twisted love is the name of the game and a more likely conclusion is the the uke uses the guilt the two semes have to set up a threesome so they'd all be happy. (Or as happy as possible in a relationship built on lies and manipulation.)
