Hmm maybe a page is missing .. I believe her bloodline has spiritual connection on her mother’s side. It didn’t activate for her until her second life, when she met the water spirit who mentioned her friends were eyeing her but she wanted her to only make a contract with her.
There’s a lot of subtle hints given.
I think the most recent update probably showing Elle a dream of his life from his mother’s original timeline. Or his father reincarnated too..
Since she was locked in that room and neglected in her first life. Back when she was scared to hold Ellie/El/Elle (his name been written 3 ways) so he was taken away and she was Denied to see her him.
Ellie who has a deep connection with spirits was probably able to see past events and learned the woman his father had him believe was his mother wasn’t, instead she’s someone who harmed the woman who birth him.
A woman who longed for him even in death. Understandable reason to rebel, he want to take vengeance on those who wrong his mother. Locking his father in the same room with nothing but time to reflect and drown in his guilt, perfect karma

I think that the main important spirit is Udine and others a second to none, she also says that a lot of spirits is looking to make contact with her

that I understand I mean how it suddenly jumps from never seeing them to them all being around and casually talking together like they werent even probably introduced etc it happens with a lot of details and scenes just abruptly cutting off
I get what you mean, it’s mentioned that she made a contract with all of them and then all of them are around but the way it’s done makes it seem like a minor detail..
in all seriousness tho am i the only one feeling that this story has so many chronically mistakes, plot-holes and things like that, we never even saw her meet those other spirits and suddenly she is connected with them all etc like they hop from one scene to the next with no explanation given most of the time sometimes we see a scene get a new scene and then go back to the first scene?? it kinda makes it hard to follow the story.
