I'm not really going to pick a side tbh I get how Melissa isn't obligated to return Nine's feelings, and how she wouldn't understand he loves her due to the circumstances she's in, and that Nine's worrying could feel patronizing to her, but also while she does have a plan to make sure she doesn't die, Nine isn't a shitty person for caring about her well being. So far I'm not really vibing with season two, since from the raws I'm pretty sure it's going to be more romancy but eh we'll see
