During the dinner he was mocking her. Because he heard what the ladies were saying, and he heard her sarcastic remark.
He really doesn't care about her appearance. How cute! But, I love how their relationship is developing. Hehe
to me she seemed genuine though. she wouldn't have been embarrassed otherwise. and usually if a character was fake bright-smiling it is implied in some way or another for the readers to understand it right at least. that's why this scene confused me so much Σ( ￣□￣||)
She was embarrassed because she knew he was mocking her, and she remembered what happened when they were alone. He, at that moment smiled to her to say," I am beautiful aren't I? And you can't win against me." He once again mocks her in ch.18.
They are kinda cute. She wants to use him to get better -in order to stay alive (+ protect her damn family), and he finds her amusing that she chose him to imitate and surpass.
they really are cute(▰˘◡˘▰) though I don't want her to become as thin and edged as she is shown in the first chapter. (except for the big boobs like that's so natural - them staying the same even after loosing weight... #－.－)) that face was just... too much. they could at least leave her face a little round (that would be cute and beautiful) but nooo to show off how thin she became the artist made her face extra edgy... ugh （￣へ￣）

But damn I'm so glad I started reading this. I was reluctant until now since I thought it was just another fat-shaming story with the ultimate goal to get skinny and get the prince. But boy was I wrong though those still seem to be parts of the story but it's also so much more!!! Definitely one of the most intelligent FL's I encountered until now!
