why? I agree that he's overprotective at times but in this case, its actually poison. You can actually die from poison. And the thought of someone you love willingly drinking poison will obviously make you mad. Im sure that he knows Melissa isn't weak and Im sure he trusts Melissa but it was only natural for him to get mad since he loves melissa. It would've been weirder if he didn't react that way.
