I love Megumi's evolution, she's still that timid girl with the skills to back her up. It's just refreshing to see how far she's come and the acknowledgement she has received. Hate her if you want but no one can deny her character development, I seriously applaud the author and artist for this. And Nikumi's development is to be praised as well, she went from the arrogant self satisfying person to one of the major front runners.
To see these two characters standing on their owns and becoming a threat to central is wonderful, I don't think this kind of thing would have been possible in the past for them so well done Megumi and Nikumi.
