i actually prefer tampons they’re so comfy. idk maybe it’s because i’m a swimmer so i’m used to it
but yea putting in a tampon for the first time is hella scary

oh my gosh stinky- btw on the tampon update it’s been 3 days and it’s really comfortable!! You should totally try it. I used to put blood everywhere with pads but it’s more hygienic with tampons imo. you have to put it deep enough bc if it’s still out it is really uncomfortable. the only thing that I don’t like it’s when I have to change it- pulling it out is super uncomfortable for me :) but that’s it haha idk life seems better with a tampon in BAHAHAHAAHA
I always think tampons are mini/nano dildos gosh my head, did try using them, i sometimes forgot to change it in a timely manner, then read on about that model that got sick because she forgot to change her own so i rarely use them unless i ran out of pads

yeah sorry bout that “dildo” reference but yeah, anything you put inside your vag feels like that but regarding flesh eating bacteria, you don’t need to worry on those as long as you change your tampons, regularly and you’re cleaning up, you good to go.

I haven't tried tampon before. But I tried menstrual cup twice and woke up in the middle of the night with suction pain both times. I also have low cervix and it hurt when I pulled out the cup. So, I'm only using pads.
I know the first time is scary but it's actually really comfortable when you get used to it! Now I feel much more free to do whatever I want when I'm on my period and I feel at ease since I don't have to experience the uncomfortable "leaking-feeling" hahaha. I just recommend you to use the ones with the paper applicator instead of the plastic one (and use the ones with an applicator because putting the tampon in with bare fingers is harder and hella uncomfortable) since it's softer and less painful and start with the smallest ones. You can keep it on for about three hours, then you should change it with new one. I promise the difficult part is just getting used to them, once you do you're able to go through your period much more comfortably!
no problem :D and btw I'm pretty sure every girls are scared when they put one in for the first time so no worries!! and I, too, hadn't put it in correctly, so it was really uncomfortable- you really have to put it all the way in so it doesn't bother you, you shouldn’t feel it once it’s in!
i didn’t know paper aplicators were a thing-! For the moment I have the plastic ones, once I finish the box I will try the paper ones cauz why not :)
