this just made me sad </3 Melissa having to fit into the "role" the role of the villainaise bcs she felt obligated, knowing her she sure seems like the type to drive herself through the mud for obligation. it would be cool if they show more about melissa's previous life in order to tie it with the transmigration into the novel, something like how Raeliana ended. A very satisfying ending.

Haha yes i know ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ But still... i dont know how to explain it. I'm just happy that you dont insult me because the two underneat are starting a Bitchfight right now...
I cant really explain what i dont like...
But i think i still like Melissa. I just really dont like Nine but thats just my opinion.
And i really dont like the Story right now. There are many questions and the Story doenst really Moves forward. But i accept ypur opinion ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I mean everyone has a different view and Taste.

Fair enough, but it's probably the series setting up for character growth since Melissa is portrayed as a highly independent persona that still perceives that her world is a "book." The misunderstanding itself isn't unbelievable tho, bc Melissa doesn't feel safe enough to live as she pleases yet since she knows there are events that will endanger her to come. She's taking all the precautions to protect herself and then suddenly this guy is saying why the fuck would you do that, let me die for you. The entire point is so she can prevent unnecessary death and covering all the checkpoints of the novel so she can secure their future. If you want a comparison of a few novels that have characters that follow fairly similar routes, ORV and TCF both have MCs that throw themselves into so much shit to keep themselves safe but pisses their companions the hell off.
Sure, she could have realized that this is Nine trying to show her that she holds his heart, but would a character who has only relied on herself for months in a new body really realize that? We've seen the good parts of her character as she blazed through obstacles in the first few episodes; of course we're going to have to struggle through the more annoying parts of her story bc how else would you get growth?
Melissa's "I'm the strongest" chara ran dry as soon as she started being the unsolicited protector for Yuri. Fucking hate forced "tomboys". Like it's okay to be a little submissive at times. Her overly masculine character design and increasingly annoying behaviour kinda lowkey pissing me off. Why can't she wield a sword and be feminine??? What pick me shit are these rebirth novelists on? Jeez
