He clearly wasn't that bad. He kinda reminds me of Ginny from BtNHH. In his case it absolutely was that he just didn't know how to express himself. I hate it when people use it as an excuse for abuse but then blame absolutely good guys (like him) for acting the same way. I think I'm actually gonna like this story since both MCs (ML/FL) ARE just flawed *human* characters.
He was not that bad. I mean.. I saw even worse ML in other series. I love him. He was faithful. But he clearly was in love with her.
