I found yaoi few years ago and I'm not a teenager.
Idk about being too young, l mean so long as they are not so young that they get traumatized by it. In my opinion, it helps prevents people from turning into homophobes when they grow up.
There are quite many yaois rated 13+. They actually censor the private parts in Japan so that little girls don't get traumatized (that's the reason they gave, or at least one of them aha). Around that age it seems fine to me. It just depends which ones I guess, some are a bit extremely graphic.
That's why Pink Gold isn't censored, and you can clearly see the dicks. It's written 18+ all over the cover of the magazine. But then when it's published in the volume 7/8, they censored them. It's because they do sell those volume to underage people.
