Umm, Nine did confess (or at least tried to) at the end of the festival, at the same spot Ian proposed to Yuri in the og novel but didn't rlly listen to him because:

1. The sound of the fireworks
2. She was way too concerned about Jake following Yuri

[But it's not like it's her fault how the situation unforlded anyways]
