Tho I haven't said much, I don't think they're that mad, to be honest- Or at least, I'm not- It's just a bit surprising when someone says the girl friend and male mc should be together in a BL because of the fact it is a BL manga itself (it would go against the genre). People who have read BL stuff for a while know the gist of how things go in most BL's so it's not surprising when they say "a BL is a BL" or something of that sort in these cases. It was also surprising that you said something harsh like, "I really hope they all die" because that wasn't something that needed to be said.

It's not something to be mad about; it's just a shock is all. Also, I don't think it matters if you're a gay man or woman on this sort of topic. Some people understand things from their own perspective(s) more than others sometimes despite their gender and/or sexuality, in this case... If that makes sense. You can't say someone can't understand certain things just because they aren't gay or of the same gender; that would be hypocritical. Everyone has their level of understanding and/or experiences of things so it would be unfair to say someone is automatically incorrect just because you don't know them well enough and how they've lived their lives; no one can understand another fully at heart. There's no need to be defensive or enraged by anyone's comment enough to say rude things.
