i think it isn't the child's fault, so killing it off won't be any good. Also aborting is his choice, no one should make that decision for him.

bestie breathe it’s my opinion, having a child from a toxic ass relationship where you were mistreated, manipulated, abused and even beaten up isn’t a good choice and you can CLEARLY see he doesn’t want to marry or even being pregnant yet. yes that wouldn’t be the child fault but it wouldn’t grow in an healthy environment. also as you said abortion is a choice so he can still do it and i definitely hope he’s going to take this thing out of him :p
