The novel actually explained more in depth about why Cayena took in Julia and put her in one of the more important positions (managing food, medicine etc.)
You’re almost 100% on the dot on your speculations. IIRC, she placed Julia in that position so that she can use Julia as a pawn to bring down her brother (Rezef’s assistant).
Right now, she’s not planning anything drastic for Rezef (until a little later) so she’s focusing on bringing down Julia’s brother first since he’s the one controlling the people around Rezef.

So if Julia messes up in her duty (Cayena getting poisoned, etc.), her brother and family can face strong consequences for implicating the royalty. Julia’s too much of an airhead to realise this, even MUCH later in the novel.

lol she irritate me so much in the novel, but at least she has changed a bit after knew how trash is her family

can u give more spoilers about what ends up happening with julia. like u explained wy cayena took julia in but like what ends up happening.

julia would do something like being rezef spy, she want's to be the empress or rezef lover if i am not mistaken..obviously she would do something stupid and being a bitch that jealous with cayenna, after that her brother (rezef assistant) who thinks cayenna was a threath for his plan.. doing something ridiculous to her and ended up died in rezef hands and from that she start learning how shitty her brother and her father was... in the end cayenna offering her a hands and gave her a choice wheter she revenge and became the head of her houses or back to a playing doll for her family, ofc she would take the revenge and join a hand with her

and the reasons why cayenna took her in bcs she want to get rid her brother from rezef

this is unrelated but can u tell me if heinrich (idk if i spelled his name right but the other guy that's aiming for the throne and also placed spies in the palace such as the head maid and head chef) will develop feelings for cayenna? just answer with a yes or no. don't elaborate bc i just started reading the novel and i just wanted to confirm or deny my suspicions.

Its been awhile since i read this novel but as far as chapter 100 goes, heinriech(?) silver haired dude didnt have any interest in her as of then.

I'm on chapter 62 and he has shown interest in her. after zenon (rezef's assisstant aka julia's brother) colluded with the guy that stalked cayenna and kidnapped her, heinriech stepped in and threatened zenon to not touch cayenna again. His interest in her so far isn't romantic but rather of curiosity and slight obssession. He said he was interested in how cayenna has all these men interested in her that they would go to all these lengths or her (that stalker guy had her kidnapped, rezef disobyed the emporer's probation in order to find cayenna, raphael quickly took the title of duke so that he'd have the authority to assemble knights and rescue cayenna). He said the following two quotes to threaten zenon "Treat the princess well" "Don't touch my toys" the toy in question being cayenna. That's not the reason i asked abt romantic feelings though. Cayenna said that in the original novel, heinriech (along with rezef and raphael) developed feelings for olivia. Heinriech planned to use cayenna and marry her so that he'd ascend to the throne. Afterwards he would kill cayenna and lust after olivia. So far in the story the men who originally sought after olivia, seem to be more interested with cayenna (be it romantically or obession wise).

oh my, the plot is getting sicker
