honestly i cant blame riftan for not realizing that maxi has trauma, let's remember that he still thinks the reason she is so shy and scared is bc he father pampered her and never let her outside and not that she was beat on constantly, so based on that her shy flinchy nature is justified, we have already seen how much he cares for her and i feel like if he knew abt her trauma he would never yell at her like ever
