I think he's starting to love norio for real now though? If I understood chapter 44 properly, he wants to let him go because he's really in love with him. Maybe I'm just defending him idk.
I understood that as well.
It's just... Norio may be an idiot, but even an idiot has the right to love someone, and I pity him when Kunimasa says he's going to marry him just because he's a rare "species" or something like that.
I hope that changes soon, since apparently his attitude changed a little bit.
