Is the cape a common quincy thing? possibly just a father son trait.

So far yeah, kinda. it could also be both.
(like it's not a mandatory part of the uniform, but for some reason it is preffered.)

Makes me wonder which Ishida will be training Ichigo how to use his Quincy powers. As well as what powers Ryuken has and what Ichigo's will be?
