If it's like how the drama is then i don't think so. He'd just call her noona since they're close with each other. Like how some girls call some older guys oppa because it's to show familiarity but still show that he's older than her.
Haha no in Korea you call people who are older than you noona or oppa, it could mean sister or brother but could also mean older friend.
Males can call older girls "Noona" whether they are siblings or not.
