i wonder what's going on with hangyul, he's acting weird

Since everybody portrays Hangyul as a perfect guy, he feels the need to live up to those expectations so he puts up a mask around everyone and doesn't let them get too close or else they'll find a flaw that he doesn't want to show anyone because he thinks they'll be disappointed in him. He tried to be a good kid for his parents that weren't really there and yet it resulted to him wearing a mask even around the people he likes. :(
