What do you mean stand up for herself???? My precious baby has been severly mistreated to the point where she has ZERO self esteem, ZERO confidence and ZERO self love, and you want her to stand up for herself????

You have never been in a mental warfare with your parents or grown up with abusive/narcissistic parents and it shows. Kids who've grown up in such household develop a severe self deprication and criticize themselves in the harshest way possible. And can read the mood of a person by the way they BREATH.
If you EVER encounter someone like that irl please don't be an asshole and say "just get over it, it's not that bad", dont judge everyone with the same stick you judged yourself.
