I mean... he only neglected her and caused her to die. He only allowed their son to never know of his mothers existence. No biggie. Don't be so closeminded.

It just like wtf do u ppl want him to do in that situation. The father threatened to kill ppl around him including reina. Y’all are acting like he wanted to neglect her, when it was her father who was making him be like that. However in no way do i believe reina should forgive him. If she doesn’t want to she doesn’t have to. And if at some point I’m the story she does that’s her decision.
If he can fix things now, why couldnt he did it before? Nothing too significant changes yet, other than the fact that he is less up in his ass.
Anything but what he did. Have you read The Tyrant Husband Has Changed? Similar plot but the ML didn't manage to fuck up as badly. And from the start tried to openly make amends. He explained his past behavior to her and talked to her about starting over. He also was open with her about his plans to make sure that her family could no longer hurt her.
I think that because things are so peaceful now people have forgotten. They still got married under the same circumstances as their past life. So he should still be under threat! Only this time he is not letting the treats get to him? So was there ever really a treat? Cuz the bad scary father in law has yet to do shit to either of them in this life. Also, he didn't have to fully neglect her in the past. He could have made sure that she lived comfortably in the annex. But didn't even do that in his past life, he just let her wither away... How does that show he cared at all?
Well I’m pretty sure the father was watching and he tried to treat her with kindness and the father threatened to kill her. Before they got married he killed ppl close to the ml so obviously he’s willing to go through on his threats and in all these stories the villain always show up later when shit is peaceful. But I do agree that he should apologize for his past actions. And wth would u have done in his shoes. When any act of kindness towards the fl could get a person killed
They still got married under the same circumstances so the threats are still there. The stipulation that the father in law would let the ML marry the Fl and become a Duke if only the Ml doesn't love the Fl is still there. I think those killings were part of a trap set by the father in law. He wanted the ML to think that he had power over him. And so the ML let the father in law keep that power. Which means that the father never had any power once the ML and FL got married. The father in law was watching but only because the ML wouldn't kick him out. Otherwise what is stopping the father in law from pulling the same shit in this timeline?
calm down guys pls haha what I'm talking about is that it's just how the story goes. it's the angst and pain that makes the story beautiful. the author did a good job infuriating the readers. it's just that, those are just how the characters are made. y'all are getting personal with your opinions like calm down this is just how the story goes okay? you don't get to decide what should happen next and what should a character feel. just enjoy the angst and pain.

Readers get certain attachment while reading stories. Its different for everyone, the journey and the roller coaster of emotions it makes us feel. Same as different opinions on the unfolding plots. But its upsetting when you are fast to label some people "close minded" just because they have different opinion than you. Plus, I dont think of it as an arguement, more like discussion of the plots that we know of. In the end, we all agree to disagree, since its our own personal experience while reading. :) Have a great day
sorry if some of you were hurt of the term 'close-minded'. yes I agree with all your sentiments but what I said refers to those who go overboard with their opinions that tend to ruin the story. since most people gets influenced on one's opinion, and you've endured can see me as someone who balances the thought. just know that it depends on how the way you think if it's really you that I refer to being 'close minded'.
