Literally same... I started Junjou and Sekaiichi as a kid (middle-school but still). At this point, I think these series became a part of me. Because of them, I started reading Yaoi overall (but still find myself going back to these two every once in a while, also to Koisuru Boukun) and thought through some stuff... I'm studying a particular major, among other reasons, because of freaking Onodera.
I kinda want it to finish, but also I'm afraid of the void it will leave after ending... Both Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.

Seeing Onodera and Takano finally be able to communicate properly... Then I could tell myself "yes, my children are ready" and close Sekaiichi Hatsukoi as a finished chapter of life (though I would still re-read it from time to time. It's a classic after all).

As for my major... It's called "Research Information and Library Science"? (not sure about the translation xp) After finishing it the first choices are publishing or library (though that depends... mainly on luck)
When I was in high-school, at some point I was lost (I was on a math-physics oriented course only because of advanced IT class) I don't know when, but when thinking of study major Onodera came to mind. Also, I loved spending time in the school's library. I've never been that into literature, but making books, even on the sidelines, or sharing them with others seemed like something for me. Thus my first choice became a major delving into books (though that description does not cover a lot from what I study XD).
This may be far-fetched, but I still believe that if it wasn't for Sekaiichi (and one other factor) I could have had ended up somewhere that I would not care for... at all. (Dang it turned out waaay to long, soriees~)

It's exactly as you say. I'm currently doing a re-read (I have 5 physical volumes... rest here) and Takano just can't stop himself from kissing Onodera. Like, every time they are talking and almost getting somewhere, he will shove his tongue into Onodera's mouth. While I'm not against it, after all, it's yaoi we're talking about (￣∇￣")... so much drama could've been spared if those two actually sat down and listened to each other (also if Onodera stopped being in denial).

Well... it's not a cheap hobby, but I do try to buy manga I like. (Partially as a way to show respect to the authors). In my country, the manga market is small but it exists. Thankfully the titles published are usually well-picked and known... Though there is a lot of yaoi. (Sekaiichi, Junjou, Boukun... and lots of one-volume titles)
Also, Psychology?! Good for you for making it! In my University, getting into Psychology would be a miracle... I think it's currently one of the most sought-after majors.

It really feels nostalgic whenever i re-read this manga, I was just like 11 years old when I started watching the anime and then I found out that there was a manga so I eventually became I certified hard core fujoshi (thanks to this manga and to sekai ichi hatsukoi lol), now i’m a full grown adult it feels like this manga literally is a part of my life and idk how i’d feel when this manga ends but for now let’s just enjoy this ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
