alright spoilers
so this is gonna sound really crazy but! cale's korean world is actually attacked by what is assuming to be demons which is why his personality is so humble towards just eating good food and sleeping because he came from a timeline where he works alot in a company killing said demons and having spent around 16 years struggling to survive and eat properly. Around age 20ish? as a korean his world was attacked and hes currently age 36 when he wakes up as cale. The korea hes from is the same as choi hans but choi han is actually MUCH older and doesnt even really age because supposedly he may become a god. Hes actually old enough to be cale's grandpa or older. Basically the korea choi han lived in was still peaceful and all until he ended up going to another world and some time passes with his old world being attacked by demons that cale was living in and then he himself also transfers over to that world. Both worlds run at different time speeds to. Again this is all true and a huge ass shock once u get into the novel tbh. Eventually in the latest chapters the same demons are starting to attack the world they both currently live in now becuase they were summoned by the bad guy called *the white star* which is the main antagonist causing all the wars and destruction in the name of becoming a god himself among humans by gaining ancient powers and reincarnating by stealing peoples bodies b4 birth. Which its BELEIVED that cale was SUPPOSED to be born into that world BUT the white star STOLE his body b4 birth and thats why he was born into korea but now returns to the world he would have been born into. Also the original cale agreed to give up his body to the current cale in a deal with the death god so the original cale is not upset at all cause he lives in cales old body in korea now, actually quite happy.
Ok so,, the mc of the novel is named Choi Han which is a very korean name. But then, everyone else around him has more European fantasy sounding names. I just thought of this now, but once I noticed it , I couldn't help thinking how weird it was. Is there a reason for this difference or what?
