Since the moment they dropped Cain's full name + the numerous "master" moments + the set up with Yahwi's name sounding similar to "goyangi" (cat) the cat & dog (Stan TXT~) narrative the writer was pushing was pretty obvious and there was just NO WAY there wouldn't be some past life shenanigans when it came to Cain with the whole "oh he is my master I must not have feeling for him". "Canis Lupus" literally means "wolf". I saw it coming from a mile away but seeing it develop right before my eyes is incredibly entertaining.
