I've wittnessed this happening in quite a lot of webtoons and it always makes me wonder. Where do the things a character held in their arms a panel ago (like the box with the brooch for the ML here) always vanish to for a few panels just so they can cross their arms or something. Is there something like a collective spacial distortion I don't know about in existence???
big pockets, out of frame tables, or even distant servants. And some of them actually have magic. It's probably just the artist being forgetful but there's plenty of ways to explain it, worst case scenario they just put stuff on the floor when they don't need it like a bunch of weirdos.
