Concur. He should have responded seriously to tess ' feeling and rejected her. There's nothing wrong with rejecting and he doesn't owe her a reason why.
I agree, I mean if I was the one who like Arthur(likely) I would rather him reject me like that than say “I don’t like” that would just hurt

FIRST OF ALL, there was nothing immature about the way he rejected Lilia, he took the day it with your chest or imma act oblivious approach, my fave. You need to tell me you want me or imma act like stevie wonder! Secondly he needs to just reject Tess and tell her he is not looking for a relationship right now and that he is not in the right headspace, she at least deserves a clear answer and Tess needs to accept that.
