the difference between your parents and them..is your parents are full grown adults. he is a full grown adult and she’s nothing but a teen. there is a very big difference.
My father was 16 when he met my mother. Also, at 15 I already was old enough to know what my decisions was going to amount to. Maybe is because of my culture but I don’t see a problem either all. She is in love with him, he didn’t force her to love him. It would be wrong if he forced her, but he was always very respectful of her.
My mom is 11 years older than my father too. When they met, my father was underage. So, if it’s mutual and there’s love I don’t really care about the age difference. I don’t really read shoujo because I feel like the girls are always blushing and too innocent for my taste. I don’t know if it’s the Japanese culture but I am Brazilian American, at 15 I was already dating. So, at the same time I find her cute I think it’s annoying she acts sometimes.
