what i think easten was trying to get at was how she raised them by herself for five years and did an amazing job, but he shouldve been there through the pregnancy since he knew, and supported her then instead of manipulating her. but now he's trying too hard too late to have a good relationship with her. but the kids still deserve a decent father figure.

the kids deserve love and care from both of them, that's that's right. however ML and FL shouldn't end up together. the way kyle acted towards is plain weird. he didn't support her through anything and she was able to lead a good 5 years out of hard work. she deserves better
