At least Edward is understanding, he just constantly worried. Cain doesn't bother, he just pushes his idea of her, instead of actually understanding her.
Difference between Cain and Edward is simple: one respects her and another doesn’t. Her relationship with Edward is so healthy because he respects and trusts her decisions, when Cain just wants to be controlling under the excuse of protection. He makes decisions for her cause he believes that’s the best for her. It’s so toxic
