Tbh. There is indeed a similarity between the two (Iruma and the Demon King). In my opinion though
Yeahh. . . And what if he's actually delkira-sama's reincarnation?
Then that would explain the reason of his disappearance. And I somehow find myself thinking that the wicked phase Iruma looks similar to the Demon King Delkira.
I have this theory that Iruma is not really a human but a demon.. and he's the Demon King's Child..
