The sadder thing is, this shit happens in real life way more than we think. I work at a kids entertainment center and I’ve seen the clear favoritism parents give dozens of times. It’s extremely sad

Honestly at first you think you hate them but you deep down just wish you were loved just as much. I hate the dad for that like their's enough too be both.
Not recieving the love or affection of a parent sucks.
But when another sibling does receive that love and affection, it just makes it even more noticeable and enviable.
I'm in agreement though, it's just that I think we don't always end up with the most logical conclusion. Sometimes our emotions focus on the wrong thing
Yes for sure! I honestly first thought I didn't like my sister but I actually really care about her I was just upset that my mom always treated me and my big sis like the black sheep of the family and a problem.
I’d hate my sibling too if my dad loved only her and not me.
