right- and if we just look at their backstories, I think cain would be the more interesting ending anyway since they shared that whole "past life" thing making it seem cain has been loyal and loved him all along. (it's also pretty remarkable how he remembers all that lol) Comparing that to yahwi and his backstory, it's kind of boring and I don't see any reason why they should end up together tbh ╮(￣▽￣)╭
