I think she was more shocked and confused. like how can he have so much knowlage (even if he is a genius one would expect that he spend his whole life buried in books to gain that much of it) and be a fighter (needs time to practice) at the same time. it's probably highly unusual for one person to be both - alchemist and a fighter - not to mention a young boy on top of it=)
