Very sad ending. The father was a fking jerk and burned Rapunzel using the holy flame(?) I'm not sure about the name. Gothel being the loving mother figure she is jumped into the fire even though her witch power can't do anything against it. They both burned to death.

Yes that is the grimes version of if. Which Disney has taken and made into a fluffy version. (Tangled) which isn't accurate, rapunzel dies along with mother Gothel. Which is really sad for mother gothel loved rapunzel not for her hair but because she was such a sweet child and didn't care that gothel was a witch.

Not to be offensive or anything...when we're talking about Rapunzel most of you only seem to think about Tangled...Am i the only one who thinks about The Rapunzel who had a baby dragon and with a magic paintbrush and all? I can't be the only one who remember that girl right?

It's super cool! Rapunzel have a magic paintbrush, she used it to escape the tower in secret, she met the prince but when Gothel find out she destroy it and tries to kill the prince while trapping her in the tower with a spell "Don't ever free the liar" but since she's not a liar she escaped with her purple dragon hatchling who could barely fly and saves the prince and trapped gothel in her own spell and free the baby dragon's father whom Gothel trapped and find her own happy ending!! It's amazing!!

Eh honestly this reminds me of Lucas and Athy's age gap but the difference is Lucas growed up with Athy in a way and they didn't, that's why it's a little awkward for Hansel to develop his feelings now seeing as he's just 12 or maybe even younger and Yielle is like what, 40+? like sir that's just uh uh. For Yielle, I think she treats them more like her siblings or maybe even her own child. So yes I agree with most of the comments but I won't drop it yet also WHAT ABT RAPUNZEL AND GOTHEL WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM, NGL I WISHED WE HAVE A VERSION OF THEIR STORY BC IT'S MUCH MORE INTERESTING YK
